Bachelor of Ministry
The 69-credit hour Bachelor of Ministry (B.Min.) degree is designed for students having previously earned a baccalaureate degree in some other field from another college or university. The Bachelor of Ministry degree provides these students with a program by which they can obtain a Bible college baccalaureate degree with sixty-nine hours of classes. By designating this degree "Bachelor of Ministry," we are distinguishing those graduates who have not completed the requirements for our rigorous four-year Bachelor of Religious Education from those who have. The B.Min. degree is particularly suited for so-called "second career" students who need some training before entering vocational ministry. In effect, the B. Min. student is fulfilling the requirements for two additional majors: a Bible major and a vocational ministry major.
Every student in the degree program takes 33 credit hours of Biblical studies (see Bible Major) and 30 credit hours of Christian ministry related courses. The Christian ministry courses include at least 18 credit hours of courses in the student's chosen vocational ministry major (in some majors, more courses are required). The other Christian ministry courses include:

In addition, the B.Min. student will take three courses for a total of 6 credit hours of general education requirements (see General Education).
In order to graduate from the B.Min. program, the student must complete all specified course work. In addition, students must complete the minimum of four semesters of Christian Service, a required internship, and all other graduation requirements (see Graduation Requirements). The B.Min. degree program normally takes a full-time student two years to complete, but there is no upper limit on the time to complete the program.
