Academic Integrity

As students and Christians, academic honesty is essential to the educational process. The system of granting credits and earning degrees is based on the ability of the College to measure each student's acquisition of knowledge and skill. Dishonesty on examinations, falsification of reports, presentation of the writings or ideas of another as one's own, and the facilitation of academic dishonesty in others will not be tolerated. Penalties for academic dishonesty are at the discretion of the faculty. These may range from reducing the grade on a student's examination or assignment all the way to failing the student in a given course. Persistent academic dishonesty may result in the suspension or dismissal of a student by the Vice President of Student Affairs.
